Sopron Specialties

Sopron, pronounced "showprrrroon". Great little city. 500 a.d. Roman walls are still standing. you can see pictures below. It is a spa resort town, so there are lots of health and body treatment services available, apparently at quite reasonable prices. Many of the missionaries wait all year to treat themselves to a manicure, pedicure and massage. It may seem extravagant, but some of them live in countries with limited hot water, heating is sporadic, and living conditions rather Spartan. They deserve this time out to refresh
body and spirit. It makes my monthly hair/nail salon visits seem decadent!!
