I'm sitting by my window, watching the sun rise over Mullheim. Only 14 more sunrises until I leave this lovely valley of vineyards, city of open markets and long walks and many stairs. (Why is it everyone I know lives in a 3rd floor apartment, no elevator building? )
I am TOTALLY homesick.....I am feeling homesick about leaving my foreign home and friends, yet feeling homesick for my family, friends and animals in America. That’s what makes it TOTAL HOMESICKNESS.
As much as I love this place, HOME is really where you hang your hubby, …… and mine is in Visalia.
SEE YOU ALL IN TWO WEEKS. I HAVE STUFFED MY BAG WITH CHOCOLATE, HAZLENUT WAFERS, LOCAL BREAD MIXES AND OTHER FOODS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE U.S. HOPE YOU GET A CHANCE TO TRY THEM OUT.
