While the internet was down and the EDOT office was moved to a town nearby, all work came to a standstill. Our granddaughter, Lauren and Freeman’s son Kris, joined us in Germany. In two weeks we, drove to Salzburg Austria, Neuschwanstein Castle, then drove to France, outside Paris, took the Eurotrain to London for a day trip, 1 day in Paris, 1 day in Versaille, drove back to Germany, put the kids on the plane home, spent an evening in Switzerland and then slept for 5 days.
The last 2 weeks have been wonderful. Freeman and I relaxed, took walks, ate lunch in outdoor cafes, afternoon Italian Icecream delicacies, fresh baked bread every morning. When I come home, I want to bring a suitcase full of fresh bread, cheese and chocolate and have a party.
